Leadership is not about position or power. Too many managers get enthralled with the control and authority which comes with positional power. Being a leader means that you have been placed in a position to serve others. It is about how we treat people, how we make decisions, and the example we set. It's about looking for every opportunity to appreciate and inspire others. Your responsibility is to help your team achieve their goals, let them know that their work matters, and recognize and reward their efforts. Leadership is not a right but a privilege.
