Five months after the largest seed round in developer tools history, Entire, the startup founded by Thomas Dohmke, is now shipping the distributed foundation layer it teased in February, reports Frederic Lardinois, Senior Editor for AI.

In an exclusive interview with The New Stack, Dohmke — who stepped down as GitHub’s CEO last year to become a founder again — talks about Entire’s future, amid the news that Entire was opening a preview of a distributed Git network designed to keep fleets of AI coding agents from overwhelming a single central server. It may someday compete directly with the core service of GitHub, Dohmke’s former company.
