A little more than three months after its first announcement, GitHub on Wednesday released Agent HQ, a feature that lets subscribers choose between different coding agents to help them build.
In addition to GitHub’s own Copilot, users can choose from Anthropic’s Claude Code, OpenAI’s Codex, and custom agents on GitHub and in VS Code, via a new feature GitHub calls Agent HQ.
TNS Senior Editor for AI Frederic Lardinois writes in today’s lead story that AgentHQ is now available to Copilot Pro+ and Enterprise subscribers. Still, the company plans to bring access to Claude and Codex to other Copilot subscription tiers soon.
